I have a Joy division A1 and the feed neck has broken 3 shells already. It breaks right where the neck enters the feed neck. I was wondering if anyone has had this problem also?

yeah, on my pulse. an with my halo i can tighten it but the loader still spins. anymore tightening would break the shell i am sure
I think the collar hits the neck on the sides, instead of the fingers holding all the way around. I have noticed with my pulse and halo that when its tight enough to hold the loader in place without movement there is still a little back and forth rocking of the loader. I am pretty sure that is what snapped my pulse neck previously. I think I am going to dremel the sides of the collar on the inside a little to see if that makes a difference.

What type of shell are you breaking a Pulse, Halo, or Vlocity?
From the looks of things the Pulse loaders shells break all the time, not sure if they have some type of material issue with the stuff they are making the shells from or if they need to modify the shape and put more of a rad on that part of the loader. As for issues with the other loader shells have not noticed any breaks or shell issues that could be atributed to the feed clamp.

Lets step into the time machine and go back to when feednecks did not clamp in any way. You had to make your hopper fit by sanding or use of electrical tape. Thankfully paintball technology has advanced, but that doesn't mean that the electrical tape has ceased being useful. Trying to get a good grip between aluminum (a hard material) and polycarbonate (another hard material difficult to do without a lot of pressure. A single layer of electrical tap on the neck of your hopper will help the feedneck gain purchase and traction without excessive pressure.

The Pulse feednecks are problimatic because they are so Rigid. They are very strong but they do not flex in anydirection meaning that they snap easily.
I have no problems with my Halo except the fact that even at the tightest point it still spins
