so ive seen numerous 05 speed videos that are in the high twentys but i have yet to see an angel 1 video of the gun shooting that fast. I am about to switch from an 05 speed to an angel 1 and i was wondering what are some main differences in shooting and feel of the gun. I just want to hear it before i drop 1k on it :-) thanks!

What is the point of shooting that fast? I usually jerk off in the bathroom, not on the paintball field.
Consistency is where it is at, and efficiency.

no no no, you mistake what im saying. i dont care about the speed i would just like to see a video of the a1 shooting that fast, because yes i saw ranger joes speed video and it was pretty intense and i wanted to know if the a1 could compare to his speed. and im worried about air efficiency on the a1. here ill make a new list of questions.
how is the feel of the gun compared to the 05 speed?
can the lpr be lowered to 45 and still run smoothly?
how loud is the a1?
and what is the efficiency that i should expect.
thanks guys, i love this forum

Hey if you get one, could you tell me how the a1 trigger compares to the 05 speed's? I've got a speed now and it has the best trigger pull of any gun I've fired, so I don't want to get an A1 only to prefer the speed trigger.

sure man, thats exactly why i made this thread cause i want to know how the a1 compares to the speed in the aspects of comfort feel and trigger pull. because if my speed is going to be more comfortable then i wont sell it. but ill keep you updated.

lol the q loader. out of curiosity how fast do pulses feed. and what difference does the rf chip make
Haven't goldwaved but using higher math on a video I did its roughly ~26 BPS in full auto eyes on unlimited bps mode. The biggest advantage with the rf chip sync'd is battery life for your loader, instead of constant surging it's idle till it gets the input from the marker. I've ran both sync'd and pulse mode and saw no noticable difference in feedrate.

i know there are boards for the halo (i have the v35) but do the angry or cheetah boards feed 30 consistantly? im just curious lol

no they do not, a cheetah boarded boosted halo will feed on gun in the high 20's with peaks into the 30's though.
The Angry won't feed that high either, I'd say on average mid 20's, probably 23/25. It feeds plenty fast enough and it is very consistant. Only problem w/the Angry is no un-jam sequence. If you get a jam you have to back-wind the rip or sometimes just give it a quick shake. It very seldom jams so this isn't a real problem honestly.

to help with the rest of your questions,
the feel of the gun is amazing... i have owned pretty much every angel since the ir3 and i will tell you the a1 is the best feel.. perfectly balanced and SOOOO Small...
Lpr being lowered to 45 woulnt help to much, iv always found changing settings from the MT's suggested is just asking for problems, I have always set everything to what bob(i live close so i talk to him but any MT will be just as helpful) says and i have never had a problem with any of my guns.
The A1 is quiet, has almost no kick and can shoot the most brittle paint.
Efficiency might be different for you... to achieve all of the things i listed and many other they did have to give up a little bit... but...... i have a 68/4500 and filled to about 4000 one day and shot over a thousand with it... so you should be fine as long as there are higher fills...
anything else you want to know or questions about anything i said LMK
thanks.

Its noticeably lighter and shoots smoother but feels mostly the same when holding. The biggest difference you'll notice in actual feel is the weight and the grip is thinner. The trigger is a little smother IMO, more like a G7 had with the magnet mod, but not quite as light and not nearly as bouncy.
LPR down to 45, no. Don't do it
noise - its louder than my shocker, quiter than my Ego was. I would call it about average on noise.
efficieny sucks, just accept that going into the purchase. It'll get better, but not by much. Initially I was getting around 900 off a hot fill on my 68/45. Now, after roughly 15 cases through it, I get ~1250 off the same hot fill 68/45
consistency, you should be considering this too. The A1 is extremely consistent, the best of any Angel I've used to date, possibly the best of any gun on the market.
Look at it this way, right now you're driving a nice SS Camaro. Get the A1 and you're riding in a Z06 vette.
and we all know, the vette gets them wet.
