Hey guys. I have two problems with my Rage A1.
-First
The rotor breech seems a bit wobbly when it is supposed to be shut. Is there a way to adjust this tightness? I was thinking the screws holding the rotor pin in perhaps.

-Second (more important)
The bolt on the Rage is sticking forwards sometimes and seems like it is letting full valve pressure air out.
Check out this video to show you what I mean.

Any ideas on the problem?

I'm not sure what the LP or HP is at.
The dwell is at 8 currently and the exhaust valve seems a little worn.

Do you have the new gen. parts? Lower your dwell to 6.5. Also, the breech always has a minor amount of movement, it is normal.

I had the same problem...
bolt would stick forward... because breach was lifting jammin the bolt and hammer forward.. it happens more often when you run paint through it ..
it can also happen when your dry firing .. but not as much..

I sent mine down to Ken Crane and it just came back.. it works fine now...
I have emailed him to tell me what he did to fix it..
I suspect it may be replaceing the breach gasket...
Frazer said that if the breach gasket lifts up.. it stops the breach from closing completely .. causing bolt stick.

when the problem happens.. if you push the breach closed. does the bolt go back and seal..(stopping the leaking)?

If Ken tell's me what he did I'll post it.. or if you wanna ask him directly.
it was order 379...

If you find out before I do... let me know.. I suspect this will be a common problem.

Thanx

If the red detents are brand new, hard and dry they can sometimes cause bolt stick. Lube them slightly and see if that clears it up. It did for me.
After the first case of paint or so it should be fine without the lube.
