im not sure how many shots out of a hp 45/68 carbon fibre tank im getting but its AWFUL!! will using the gauges to set the mini-reg and LPR pressures to Joy settings help? or will changing to a LP tank help more? HElP!

-set your lpr and hpr, and set your a1 to joy/rage settings
-make sure you have all Gen. 2 parts
-bring your vlocity down to 280ish if its not already
-make sure your paint to bore match is good
-and is your gun broken in yet? air efficiancy is horrible till you get 8+ cases trew it.

Doing everything WDP says on their website will help to some degree to getting the most efficiency out of your a1. Check the threads on the A1forum, and on the WDP website for the latest settings for your a1.

In addition, check you tank as others have suggested. Use LP--recomended.

In addition, most of us have noticed that there is a break-in period for the angel. Once broken in adequately, the A1 becomes pretty efficient on air.

Also check paint to barrel match.
With the high-flowing soft kiss technology it becomes more critical for efficiency to have a good fit.
