Hello,
I have a G7 Fly along with a Crossfire 45/4500 tank, the gun is a little more than a year old and has been broken in etc..
The problem is the inconsistency at the chrono...It seems to be +/-20 to 25 !?!?! That is not normal
BTW my dwell is set at 9
Thanks for any help given!!

Has the gun been greased/oiled/serivced latly?
If not I wouldnt first break the gun down and grease everything up escpesialy the reg.
What is you lpr pressure?
ALso make sure your paint to barrel match is half way decent and your paint is good quaility.
Also make sure you cupseal is not very worn/torn as this could result in inconsistancy's.

Well i have no idea what the LPR is set at b/c I can't seem to find one of those G7 tools kits they used to sell...but yea I'll start with the reg...(is it fairly easy to service??))
And yes it has been well oiled with love juice (conforming to the manual), but it has not been greased...althought to be honest I don't believe it has more than 15 cases through it total
Is it fairly easy to service the regulator...and remove the backplate to get to the ram??

Reg is fairly easy to maintain. Read the manual how to get it out. I suggest buying a reg serive kit from www.fixmyangel.com as well as a lpr service kit.
20,000 shots is the recomended grease service so break it all down and regrease everything this will probably do the trick.(15 cases=30,000 shots) not counting dry fires.

Alrighty I'll grease the reg and ram and all that stuff...I was wondering if dwell would have any effect on the inconsistency also...i had my dwell set at 11 but set it to 9...and thats when it started to become inconsistent

Try checking your LPR and lubing the bolt.
And make sure that the paint you are using isn't a WalMart special!

No..dont lube the bolt. The bolt is supposed to be kept dry.
Give the marker a full service, check the cup seal is in good shape, polish the valve stem using a very fine material to give it a smooth action.
Dwell all depends on your pressures, and the whole setup.
