My feed neck tried to pop off today without unscrewing. I think the threads are ok. And one of the edges on the ASA broke off. This thing is only a month old..........

Has anyone else had any thing like this?
Does angel sell only the body if the threads of the feed neck are done?
Any recomendations for a replacement on/off ASA?
Should I mill down the grip frame to attach the new ASA?

Thanks.

WDP makes replacement ASA, thou only black. (i guess you play more agressive then joy does, theirs dont break ;) )
I would not mill it, if you dont like the ASA style back again, smartparts, hybrid, CP.. to name a few. And they all fit as is.

yeah but as is you add height if you dont get rid of the little rail thing :D

i have to say though that the A1s asa's are pretty robust.

Jesus man what are you using this thing for, an entrenching tool to dig your way to the snake??? J/K, I have to say that my A1 has been surprisingly rugged. I expected to have to "kid-glove" it but that has not been the case at all.

I picked up the Critical ASA direct mount/dove tail today but I will need to find 5mm longer screws in order not to cut down the grip frame.
As for the feed neck, I'll try some thread repair cause they don't look that bad and it still screws on tight.

Those Joy guys don't play hard :niener: plus they get new guns every week.

for some reason i doubt they get new guns every week :) i know they get their guns tuned to perfection by the techs though on a constant basis.

The Critical On/off fits perfectly. It uses both dovetail and direct mounting for a secure fit. You will need screws that are 1 1/4" (30mm) long and not the 1" (25mm) that come with the on/off.
