guys, when i dry fire my a1, I pull for one shot and i hear gas recharging. I keep slowly shooting and I hear it. When shooting paint it rips, no drop off or fsdo or anything.

But its werid that I hear it. So im wondering is this normal or?

Thanks

BTW- My tank is a CP LP, settings are 270/58 and dwell of 6.5.

If you aren't having problems when shooting paint, then you have nothing to worry about.

This is a perfect example of the gauges telling you really what is going on. If you hook up the minireg and LPR gauge and pull the trigger, you can watch the gauge and see if anything is recharging slow. Have you tried this yet?

Ill have to check the gauges tomorow. And if it were recharging slowly on the gauge, why does it rip great with paint? My efficiency is great and my chrono readings are averaging +/- 4.
Maybe time for me to break the reg service kit out and replace all the seals.

Most likely why it rips with paint vs. without is back pressure. I can run out 2000psi in a hurry when dry firing, however I can get a couple of games (hopper plus 3 or 4 dye locklids) on the same amount. I have noticed that when checking pressures while dry firing vs. w/paint the gauge was slow to return to pressure (dry firing) but barely moved while firing w/paint.

Easy now, by no means am I an MT, all I was refering to was my particular observation. There maybe something actually wrong but I wouldn't be overly concerned considering its rock solid while firing w/paint.

Congradulations on your unofficial promotion to MT :)
