I'm trying to change modes on my G7 to PSP ramping but it just doesn't seem to want to work right. It says in the manual to access the Mode menu by pressing the middle button then pressing the blue button till your mode changes, but I'm stuck on Mode 1.

Please help!

So when you open the grip and press the buttons inside, nothing changes?

Not quite -- if I hold the blue button down for longer, it puts me at factory settings. It does not, however, change the mode at all.

When in SAFE, press the left button to scroll through menu and press the right button to change the settings. If this is still not working for you then the board is more than likely locked.

I'll be going to UW Madison to major in Computer Science. What did you say it was you did again?

You need to have the software updated to have the proper PSP mode. g1:5a is the most recent software.

My buddy was just telling me that, I may end up selling it after Chicago and buying an A1 anyway.

I didn't say, but of course you read that... lol

I've been building computers from scratch, since i was 11, not to mention fixing countless user errors and mishaps that women like you make on a daily basis...

at least afterwards, you won't have to call on people like me or the "geek squad" to correct those errors lol

And yes, i'm an asshole, everyone knows this... but it's really one of my most charming qualities i'm told :-D

I'm sorry, "women like me"?

My parents owned a networking company from 1993 to 2002 and I helped out there since I was seven, with things such as building and troubleshooting computers. Easy stuff, but then again I was 7. I worked for Tri North Builders last summer as an IT assistant and the employees there would rather call me for their computer issues than the real tech support guy. Finally, although my dad is a Microsoft Certified Systems Engineer, I have been working on slowly converting most of the computers in our house (that's six including laptops) over to Linux. I don't claim to know everything, but I'm not stupid either.

I'm tired of hearing from you. Take your bull§§§§ elsewhere.
