Hey guys. I am sorry for my blatant ignorance, but I am very new to the angel community. Oh my A4 Fly Rasta, I have been trying to tweak the pressure settings. Right now, the LPR is reading about 64 psi, and a +/- 10-12 chrono of about 290. I am kinda OCD about anything I own, and just wanna make my gun shoot the absolute best it can. my friend was showing me how to remove shims to optimize the pressure, but I just wanted to see if anyone had any input. I then removed one shim, and the pressure was lowered to about 58 psi. While I realize that every gun is different, is there any time of guideline that I can go by to optimize my LPR pressure. Thanks a lot for helping out an enthusiastic angel newbie.
What is your minireg output?

if you want a more accruate LPR pressure and faster recharge rate (the recharge is ridiculously faster) you can use 3 G7/A1 spring stacks. I have them on my Joy A4 Fly and watching the gauge needle spring back up to pressure that fast is so cool and much more consistant.

..each marker is unique, so any post that states something like "..use 3 of this part ..." should be taken with a grain of salt. That is not to say the person posting is wrong, it's just that each marker behaves differently. If you have the right tools set and guagues for your model of Angel, look for the stickies on this board by the Master Tech (BoB, Ken Crane, Russ, Trevor, Eric) that have the 'recommended' settings. These are the settings that provide the greatest level of reliability and achieve the advertised performance standards. Once you have these facts and figures, then it's time to put your tools, time and money to work to find the optimal settings for your marker. Use the factory/MT recommended settings as the baseline then work your way from there.
