How many people in here have different regs on your A1 now that the CP reg adapter is available? If so: What reg? better or worse than stock reg? pros and cons of this reg, and would you recommend the reg?
Im looking for a new reg becasue i want to use my HP tank instead of buying an LP tank.
Thanks in advance to any helpful posts.

People might bash me for this, but I am currently using a stock Freestyle8 reg on my A1. Pros of it are : +/- 2 at the chrono, able to use any tank without issue, the macro fitting is placed well (stays out of the way) and although it is personal preference, I find the reg to give me a very comfortable grip.

wouldnt dream of changing my reg. Its +/- 2. IMO WDP regs are the best on the market.

I haven't had any complaints with my Angel 1 reg either but I can completely understand why some upgrade just because they can. I've been there and done that lol.
Just ask yourself if you are better off buying a LP tank or spend the casj for the CP reg adapter + the reg. It all adds up.

I have a 2 litre on there atm. No complaints either way. Think I will eventually switch it back to the stock reg. I could use the 2 litre on a different marker. The stock reg is excellent imo.

You also have to look at it from some other's standpoint; some people, like myself, bought a new reg for their previous markers (in my case, a Shocker) and when they sold the old marker, kept the new reg. So now, I've got a spare CP reg just sitting upstairs gathering dust. If I still owned my HP tank, it would be more economical to just buy the reg adapter and keep my old tank, instead of selling the old tank and spending the time/effort to find a used LP tank
For the record, though, I'm keeping the stock reg on my A1, since I have no need to spend the money on the adapter to replace it
Just ranting, sorry; I've seen alot of posts on how much a new reg and adapter would cost when there are many in my position with just spares laying around =)

For example, the CP regs will work perfectly on an LP tank.
BTW - The stock minireg should not be getting loose. It sounds like the screw holding the minireg on just isn't tight enough.

I'm not aware of a reg on the market that wont work with a LP tank.
You can order the adapter direct from www.customproducts.us

It also says for markers that operate on less than 200 psi go with low pressure tank. The stock HPR brings it down to 270 on the A1 and there are two types on CP's website, one that regulates down to 300 and the other to 500.
