powdercoating LCD body?

is it possible to powdercoat an LCD body? im getting a 2k angel, and its purple, and at some point id like to get it powdercoated (i like the matte powdercoat style), just wondering if it will affect any tolerances or if it will work on the metal of it (its aluminum right? and thats ok, isnt it?)

also i heard that the gun is rare because not many were made in this color, any trade offers?
