Search the forums for topics of intrest on the A1. Most of your questions have been asked at least once in the last year. Tons of info to get familiar with your new marker.
Welcome to AOG mate. ;)

Break it in! Seriously the more you use it the more efficient it will get.

You will notice a huge difference in shots/fill at the lower dwells.

I got my dwell at 4 right now, will moving it up to 6.5 make it more efficient?

Yikes, under no circumstance should you run the dwell below 6.5ms per the MT's recommendation.
Dont Run Your Dwell Below 6.5. I Dont Care If You Are The Smartest Physics Major In The World. It Dont Work!

Have you checked all your pressures too? Like your minireg and the LPR? Also, are you using a HP or LP tank?

my gun is working fine, i havent broken the reg in yet, its brand new. And i havent played a game with the dwell at 4.. ive only played with 6.5.
Anything under 6.5 does nothing for performance and can cause cycling issues.
To really get the efficiency up check your paint to bore match, I'm using RPS Premium and when I went from the .691 A1 back to a .687, I saw a significant increase in efficiency and still no breaks. If you don't have the expaned barrel kit or other smaller backed kit and want to increase your efficiency you might want to put that on your list of what to buy next.

Make sure you have your angel set to the Joy and Rage settings:

Set your LPR and exhaust valves with the pressure guages (available separately). Information in your manual and at the link above.
Flash your marker via USB cable connected to your computer to the latest 2.2 software, which you can download from the WDP website. Instructions available in the download.

You'll need a USB cable available from your local radioshack or electronics store.
Download the grease manual available from WDP website.
