ball detents

i have an a1, this is my 3 time to i need to change my ball detents in 2 monts is this correct?? the ball detents its the red ones i use 2 times a week the a1....

mines lasted for over 18,000 shots well 18,001. And I dry fire mine alot too. IS your bolt always hitting your detents like when its in your bag. Is the bolt pushing against the detents?

How many shots are you talking?

Also ...do you store the gun with the bolt in it? The detents will last longer if you remove the bolt or at least stick something in the feedneck to prevent the bolt from moving forward and pushing against the detents.
