Hey guys, I have managed to trade my NXT for an A1, and was hoping for some insight from you who already own one as to what to expect. I held one at Tampa and just fell in love with how comfortable it was and how easy it tucked into my grip.
My previous experience with angels is my 05 Speed, i love this marker but from what I have been able to gather the A1 is a completely different animal.
I was wondering what kind of differences I am going to see from my shocker. I cant imagine that maintenance is as much of a pain as a shocker (having to lube all the o-rings every other shot, or it seems that way).
I have read the manual already, all the stickies, and pretty much every bit of info I can find on the A1. I was just hoping for a bit o' insight from you guys. Thanks.

Let me give you some insight to what performance I'm used to...
Last season - 2005 & 2006, I played with my Speed 05 during the winter. I trained 1-2 times a week, in addition to 4 tournaments during the indoor-season, all in Div 1, where firepower really matters, and there is no room for downtime whatsoever. Fastest games are 10-15 seconds, longest are 2 min. (Small indoor-field with a diagonal of about 30m)
I had lots to do at work and school, and therefore, I just left my gun in the closet at the field in temperatures of about -10/-15 C. No maintenance what-so-ever during those months, and hardly any lubing after the tournaments...I just turned up, played, and got home.
Overall, my team placed 2. that season.
This season 2006-2007, I played with my A1. Very much the same story, not too much lubing or general care taken of the marker. Still, we placed 2. this year as well, even though the competition had gotten much heavier, running PSP mode and almost all teams attending practice 2-3 times a week with reballs.
My general impression of the A1 so far is that it out-performs every gun around. I had _one_ tournament with a lot of problems, and that was with paint at 3-4 C, that was just too cold for it without starting to change the original settings.
I think that says it all...
Good luck, you won't be disappointed by your A1!
(Please, do not be offended by me not taking proper care of my equipment; I just trust it to perform no matter what. And so far, it has.)

maintenance: the sweetthing about my A1 is that it needs maintenace lessoften than any other marker I know. however, sadly, it can be harder to clean than a shocker.
weight: though it looks bigger, the A1 weighs about the same as the NXT.
Speed: The A1 in terms of speed can chew up anything smart parts makes and spit it out.
looks: sex machine.
field cred: Though you're gonna have some of those idiots who insist egos are better(They're wrong), you'll still turn heads. plus there's that feeling your opponents will get just knowing you have an angel. ^___^
