With my old pre-G7 Fly Angels I used a predator barrel for practice when I didn't want to deal with setting up my reball practice area. I'd attach an Angel to Autococker barrel adapter and shoot infrared beams to practice my snap shooting. No one makes a barrel adapter for the G7 Fly or A1 that I can find on the internet. I can't imagine that it would be too hard to modify one of my existing adapters. The A1 has finer threads and a shorter shank. Wouldn't it be possible to fill up the old coarse threads with JB Weld or something else and then cut new A1 threads in it and then trim the shank to fit? It wouldn't have to be pretty but it should be doable. Any of you smart guys know what pitch the new A1 threads are? I'd like to be armed with as much info as possible b4 going to see a machinist about this. Any recommendations would be appreciated.
