I'm starting this thread for all the players with questions, comments, or news about The CFOA.

Many CFOA players know about the charity, Laurens Hope (http://www.laurenshope.org/).

My husband and I, from The M.O.B., approached Cat and Ron Green about adding a Masters Division (over 40 years old) for this years Laurens Hope Tournament. They are going to add the division if we can get at least 6 teams to participate in this division. So far, we have 2 teams committed to playing in this division.

MOB is looking for 3 more players over 40 years old for this division in this charity tournament.

I know there must be some Angel owners out there over 40 wanting to get together for this great charity.

I know I'd play along and could possibly bring along one other teammate from our SCPFOA team who will be 40 by then. The problem is we'd need other people over 40 to form a team as most of our team is much younger so we'd be free agents hoping to join a team. As we get closer to November let us know the specifics.

Good to hear from you! If all of the Angel owning players over 40 start planning now, we could put together a great team to represent.

Keep in mind, this is an Open divison for the Masters. Any level of player can play as long as they at least 40.

The level of the competition doesn't bother me a bit. All I need is the other 4 players and I'm there (plus the weekend off). I'd already put this event on my calendar previously with regards to getting some kind of team together to bring up from SC and a masters team would be as good as any. I just love to play.

My comment was meant to encourage all level of players to partcipate in the Masters division.
