Has anyone here bought the Nox chip advertised on FMA.com? I was looking into getting one as well as a lucky board, to replace the one i have now.
Un1 is great for a replacement board for an LCD without eyes. If you are putting a board in the G7, I would recommend the Angry or Virtue board at this point.

Thanks Bob.
But i do have a very serious question, has anyone actually USED a Un1 board with a Nox "Hip" chip?
Yes, we have tested all the chips for the Un1. What would you like to know?

i have that board and chip in my g7. its awsome. it rips and has all the modes just like the tadao or virtue. i have no complaints with it. my comparisons are based on owning all of the above boards. the lucky is the only one of the 3 i have left and there is a reason for it.

Thanks for all the help guys. the question i was about to ask Bob was how reliable- easy to use the Nox "Hip chip" is compared to other upgrade electronics, like virtue boards, angry, ECT.
Easy to use, if it goes bad you just buy another chip.

Sweet, and ease of programing?
I am asking all these questions because currently my stock board is only working because of an awkwardly jammed-in piece of plastic.

I will have to add "free replacements" to my item description for the NOX chip.

If you are serious, that will have to be the most awesome thing i have ever heard a company-store say in a LONG time!

thats what he did with me anyway. i thought i had a bad chip and instead of having me pay for shipping to send it back. he told me that it wasnt worth making me jump through the hoops. the cost of a raw chip is fairly inexpensive and it would be easier to just send me a new chip. that is what i call customer service at its best. and i will recomend them to everyone interested in purchasing a similar product.
on a side note. i was told that the equipment used to program all of the nox chips is not cheap. it has a self serving system that runs checks and balances to ensure a clean flash. i was the first person that called about a possible programing glitch. and i havent had any problems with the new chip i got since.
