View Full Version : A1 And VLocity, NOT 15.4...

So I have an A1 with V2.1 and a Vlocity with a gangster chip.

My BPS is nowhere close to 15.4. When i had my pulse on, it was slower also.

What is the problem? Will 2.2 fix the issue or is it my Vlocity?

Thanks in advance!

Check your trigger adjustment , make sure it is firing every time you pull the trigger , also check for low batteries in the gun as well as the hopper, last of all check your BPS cap , make sure it is where you want it to be and the shot filter setting can also delay shots

It is on PSP mode. The batteries in both are new, it is just not ramping up to 15. I pac timed it at the cfoa this pst weekend and it was like 13 I belive.

its how your trigger is set
make the trigger front stop farther out, and the back stop right before the break beam on the opto switch

Most guns (read pretty much EVERY gun) ramps to around 14.5-14.7 average so that there are no stray shots that will go over 15.4. 13 seems a bit low though, so next time i go out with the pact timer i will check my ROF.

set your paint type higher maybe that will help

Trouble shoot by trying hoppers that you know are working on other players' A-1s then try it on your gun.

I think updating it to 2.2 fixed the problem, it seems a bit faster. I will pact time it saturday as well as adjust the trigger.

Thanks for all of the help!

4 things to look at 1, is your paint type. If it is low then the gun will be slower. 2, is your dwell. If it is too high then the gun will be slower. 3, is the loaders settings and its motor, some loaders are just faster than others simply due to the condition of the motor that spins the paddle. 4, is the batterys in the loader, on the VLocity the Joy Division guys change the batterys after every 3 games as you can physically notice the loaders speed begin to slow as the battery power starts to decay.

frazer, du you happen to know what batteries specifically Joy use?

I've been trying out different types over the years, from 170 mAh rechargeables, Duracell ProCell, to my current batteries; Energy Paintballl..
Far superior to ProCell in my opinion, rated at 1100 mAh, it's voltage and lasting strength is the best I've seen.
(alright, thats enough advertising for today, just wanted to tell how impressed I am ;) )

As for the original q; I use Vlocity on my A1, and at loader setting 2 or 3 I hit 14-15 bps without problems...

I would like to suggest a boost pack--not sure if you've tried this yet.. From the tests I've seen, the boost pack has the most consistent output for the longest period of time before drop off. Best of all, I think they're more environmentally friendly and save you $$ in the long term.

No, haven't tried it yet, although I remember to have heard about it...I thought it was just for reloader/halo, but if it's for the vlocity as well, I might give it a go..

The guys use the paintball energy batteries, as they are sponsored to do so.

There is a table at the end of this webpage
http://stores.buyitsellit.com/StoreFront/view?store=5027&view=product&id=31390
which tells you which boost pack is compatable with the Velocity Loader.
Don't use one that is not compatable or you might run into trouble.
