is this a battery problem or board?

yesterday i took my dark g7 out of my case and it showed a low battery. i hooked up the charger and turned it on and the screen went blank then the battery symbol showed up empty on the screen and then the screen just started blinking real fast. it looked like a strobe light. i hope its a battery and not the board. the marker is 8 months old and has 28,000 shots on it. are the batteries suppose to last longer than that? thanks

im not 100% sure but i though the manuel said to turn the gun on then plug in the charger???

u might have done something to the brd.......

i did it just like the manual said and the way ive been doing it since ive owned it. its just that the marker sat in my bag for the last month and a half and when i t6ook it out to charge it thats what happened. thanks
