hey
i have a problem with my gun and it comes down to
small piston. it's not very clear in the manual does it
have a small ring on the upper side (inside) or not?
if it does, mine's gone...
what would that rings size be?
what was the issue is that my gun was breaking paint at the
end of the barrel. then i tried to set the speed but it wouldn't
respond to screw turning. so when i opened the reg. i only
noticed this one thing on the small piston.
i have one day to solve this, saturday big tourney coming up.
could a new regulator on my bottle have caused this to break?

Breaking balls in your barrel is most likely caused by your barrel. Page 32 of the manual walks you through the causes of breaking balls.
I assume when you're talking about the small piston, you mean the mini reg on page 20. If so, what part are you talking about when you say small ring? Please refer to the name of the part as mentioned on page 20...I'm not sure what part specifically you're refering to. If you're talking about the circlip, then yes, you should have one in place.
Let me know if this helps.
If the little black oring is not in the top of the small piston, you will need to replace the piston.

it's not a barrel issue since the balls were breaking
at the end of the barrel.
then i saw my velocity was to high and tried to
set it below 300. it was impossible. it didn't respond
to anything and the speed was going from 330 up to 400.
this part (ring) is not separately shown from the small piston.
small piston is small piston and is shown in the manual.
i can just see something like a ring in the picture, but again,
what confuses me is that it is not shown separately.
so my simple question would be do your small pistons have,
besides whit ring on the outside middle, another small black
ring on the inside top?
why change the piston if i can get this ring?
There should be a black oring crimped into the top of the small piston. If your oring has come out, you need to replace the piston.

so there is no way to replace the oring?
i can't get a new piston in croatia in one day...
i was thinking on finding a suitable oring and fix it.
does this ring have a special size or anything that can
help me find one or make one?

Bob knows his §§§§ so if he said you need to replace it then thats the only option.
Answer to your second question is "yes" is your new reg LP or HP if it's HP then it may have put extra stress on your mini reg or the bottle reg may have spiked to over the recomended pressure of the mini reg seal.

No idea the size of the oring. You can always try put a replacement oring inside the crimped area but the chances of doing so are pretty slim without damage the face of the new seal. If the crimp is bad the new oring will just pop out again as soon as you gas her up.

exhaust valve stem, LPR service Kit, extra set of eye covers. Also since you are going to replace the piston can you glue it in using like goop or something equivalent?

glue piston in? why?
the thing i did with replaced oring at the top of the
piston didn't work well. it held it around 300 fps and i couldn't
get it down, so people - if anyone comes to the same bright
idea - DON'T.
played the tourney with dm7/pm6 today which was ok, but
nothing like my baby.
will work out my shopping list and send it in. thanks for all the help.
