I've finaly made up my mind to retire my old silver C&C LCD and buy an A1. Since is been a few years I've got some general questions.
#1 I noticed that they come in Polished, Dust and Velvet finish. I'm pretty sure I know what Pollished and Dust finish are but what is Velvet finish?
#2 Other then looks are the Joy/Rage guns the same as a stock A1?
#3 I have a stock Halo B right now. Do I need to upgrade to an after market board? If so does one work better on an A1 then others?
#4 Spare parts tools: Besides a spare parts kit and a tool kit is there anythign else that would be recomended? Any parts that I may want to keep more then one or two extras of?
I think that about covers it I found a ton of info in the threads to answer the other questions I had.

GOOD DECISION

Similar to dust finished but more of a matte finish.

Yep

You shouldn't need to, however if you want to you can get a V35, Angry or Cheetah board (howeever the Cheetah are going to be a limited release and if you want one you need to pre-order before they sell out) however you don't have too.

Follow the link and you'll see the LPR and Exhaust pressure guages you'll need for setting/checking your pressures, and also this link http://www.fixmyangel.com/catalog-product775
for pretty much any spare parts you might want to get, great kit for the money

For tools, I'd recomend you get some strong allen keys. I broke--yes, 3 allen keys, trying to adjust my trigger. The first one I broke was the stock one that came in the angel tool kit. The screws in the trigger are friggin' locktited to death, and really hard-don't seem to wear.
I finally got some high strength-high torque allen keys that worked.
I mean, I heated the darn thing and everything, and the locktite won't break...hehe. It's supposed to be blue locktite, but it just won't break--my allen keys broke!
Just my experience...different people have different experiences and different amounts of locktite on their gun.
But once you get past that, the angel is an awesome gun.
Just incase you run into trouble, I'll also recomend a screw extractor kit...ask me about this if you ever strip any of your screws.
Good luck. Don't worry...it's not as bad as it sounds. Just my experience. Once you get your angel tuned to where you want it, it rips like no other!
EDIT: By the way, for those reading this. Be caerful with allen keys. you don't want to go around and start stripping your screws. For the most part, your stock allen keys should do everything you need. Just make sure your allen key is firmly inserted into the screw before you start turning.
I just had the misfortune that one of my screws just wouldn't open around the trigger area and broke 3 of my allen keys. I believe this is quite rare, so I don't want to give the wrong impression.
