What would be the advantages/disadvantages of getting a new reg once the CP reg adapters are on sale?
And what would be the best reg to put on my A1?

AKA 2-Liter is arguably the best reg on the market. CP also makes great regs.

I have a 2-Liter on my G7 it only varies 5-7 FPS and it's not even broken in yet.

the 2 liter plus has two different spring so you can use HP or LP.

The two springs are accually for two different output pressures of the reg. 1 for 0-350PSI output and 1 for 250-550PSI output. An adjustable tank would still be best, but a HP tank will be fine.

i have the cp reg adaptor on my A1 and some of the advantages for me are that you have the ability to use an hp tank with a reg you buy, and you can now use any reg that you are familiar with and/or prefer due to past experiences . . .

I have seen the CP Reg Adaptors on Ebay already so they should be available.

The 0-350PSI spring comes already installed, and yes that's the one you will use. I don't know a link for Canada but the website is akalmp.com

[QUOTE=mmmmmSteak;581014]so for on my A1 i woul use the spring for the lower output presure right?QUOTE]

it depends what kind of tank you would use. u can use either or depending of what tank you use. MT prefer tank pressure of 450 and above. and 270 psi inline reg. so the spring that falls with in this recommended pressure is the one you should use.
i say if it aint broke dont fix it.

i used my a1 for the first time last weekend. i used a hp crossy and it went down into the 250s, and was getting +/- 2 over the chrono at 296 fps
