changing output on preset???

Hey I want to run a lower pressure into my gun but have a steel crossfire with a set output pressure of 850 psi. (Im getting a new tank but for now i want to do this) and i was wondering if I can remove shims or do something to change the output pressure. Isnt there some way to like take the reg apart and change the pressure? Thanks

i've been told that you can do that to the new pe presets. no idea about crossfire tanks though.

I think the reg spring in there is only allowing 850 psi out at a time. I don't think you will change it unless you use a new spring.
