Anyone, Please Help!

I traded my impulse for a 2k LCD angel. The guy said that he lost the tab key and he just stuck an allen wrench in there instead. But that's not the problem. When i take the wrench out to turn it on(by holding down the red button) nothing happens. Am i out of batteries???? When i put the charger in, the board lights up and is blank. if i press a button, it goes to the little pin screen. did he put a pin number on??? Also when i took off the back plate, one of the wires was off the little switch where the tab goes in. I soldered that back on and there's no diff when i put it in the charger. ANY help is appreciated. Thanks.

What do you mean when you take the wrench OUT to turn it on? You need to put the key IN to turn it on. That's probably got something to do with your problem. Read the LCD manual here to learn more about charging and turning on your LCD (click the link at the top of the page that says "manuals")

ur supposed to take the tab(wrench in my case) out and then hold down the red button for 2 secs. right?? that's what i was told. i read thru the manual. i know how to charge but when i take the wrench out, and put the charger in, the screen says "tab in" and there's nothing in. plus the battery IS hooked up to the board. do you have aim? my aim is daniel0928

BEFORE inserting the remote plug from charger into socket in the rear of the ANGEL LCD.....are you sure if your Angel LCD is in the "ON" postion??...then the "TAB IN" disapear and the 4 battery bar segment will cascade to indicate charge is being taken...you can check if the battery is correctly plugged into the circuit board too

ok, well that's the problem. my gun won't turn on or charge correctyly. i checked the battery and it is correctly plugged into the circuit board too.

anyone??? someone told me that there is a bad connection in my gun and that is why it is saying "tab in" when there is nothing blocking it. Is that true? Should i get a new switch, or am i gonna have to send it in? ANY help is appreciated.

There might be a bad connection but your battery may also be at fault. Your best bet is to get the 2001 battery/charger kit. Its like $80 but it has the newer battery (which has none of the problems of the 2k battery), a newer charger, and an on/off switch to get rid of that annoying tab system or in your case a wrench:(

My best advice to you is call (not email) one of the service centers. You can explain your problem and they will walk you through on the phone. They can diagnose your exact problem and tell you what to do. Give them a call
