Hp/lp

I know it has been asked 1,000 times. I am getting an 05 Speed in a trade along with a HP 68/4500 Crossfire tank. Do I absoloutley need a LP tank, or can I stick to the HP? I am thinking about trading the tank for an LP when I get it, but it will take some time for someone to offfer a trade so will I damage anything if I use the HP a couple times?

You can try using the HP tank on it. You shouldn't break anything, but you might not be able to adjust the velocity under 300.
You hvae two options. Convert your tank to LP or swap it for an LP tank. Or, do the mini reg mod.

or 4th option:buy adapter.... get aftermarket reg... i was never impressed with WDP regs to begin with... but AKA sidewinder/ 2 liter regs, and Macdev Gladiators have yet to fail me :D

When I bought my 05 Speed I was told by Russ that I should only use lp because hp would eventually blow my solnoid.

well i did the mini reg mod and had no problems with it but i would try to convert ur tank to lp cuz it would just be that much easier then if u want to sell it u dont have to worry about changing the reg like i had to do
