I just recently took apart my fly, oiled and greased everything, and put everything back together. My original dwell setting was 9. When I shot it again for the first time after cleaning, it had very bad drop off. I increased the dwell to 11 and it shot fine. Does it need to be broken in again or something before I can lower the dwell again or what?

The most likely answer is that you applied to much grease, and that it blocked an air passage. my advise would be to simply dry fire it a few times, then run a few bags of paint through it, and see if that clears it up.
