ANGEL '04 LCD... I need some help!!!!! need a reply ASAP!

OK, when i am already having problems charging it, and instead of displaying "charging" it flashes "LP V3" and then it lights up the entire screen, you know how it does when you first turn it on and it shows all zeros and shows all the words on top and shows the full battery meter and everything next to it? Hopefully you know what i am talking about. but it continues to flash between that and "LP V3" whatever that means. what the hell is wrong with this thing? i have been looking all thru the manual and i cant find nothing on it.

wow, so what the hell am i shootin??? its definitely not an IR3, the guy i bought it from about a year ago told me it was an angel 4. it is an LCD, but it was one of the last markers to come out of cobra before i was told they went out of business. unless the guy bull§§§§ted me about that too. my bad, the 0 in 04 might have thru you off. its just an angel 4. he kept callin it an '04.

Hey man... you're right... it's just an A4. They were made in 04 and were the first Low Pressure gun Angel made hence why your board flashes "LP V3". As far as charging goes. How are you charging it? Are you charging it in your car? If so, try turning the car on. I found that my truck sometimes needs to be turned on (actual motor running so the alternator can produce enough juice to the power socket) in order for my A4 board to charge.

i make sure the car is turned on when i charge it, but instead of the word "charging" coming up on the screen, it continously flashes between LP V3 and then the entire screen lights up. thats all the information i can really give, i thought it was supposed to display "charging" the entire time it was plugged in.

Are you turning the marker on to charge? If yes, then you either have a very flat battery, charger is not outputting proper voltage, the wires on the battery/switch are broken or the board is just bad. If no, the marker must be on to charge.

[Gimmick]

Try plugging the power cord into the car, then to the gun, then turn the gun on.
