New Angel..?

when is the next angel supposed to come out?? please dont flame me. i just want a general time frame. b/c i dont want to waste 1k on a new A1...then a newer model angel come out. thanks for any responses

there is generally a 6 month gap between models, if you get and A1 then within a few months another angel will come out, 1/2 a year later another, and then another... you just have to figure that the A1 is light, its MROF is faster than you can pull the trigger, it has eyes,etc... and that the only changes that will be made that will directly affect you is the marker will get a little light, a little more efficient, etc... between models/generations. i have an A4 fly still, and feel no need to upgrade. yes the A1 is lighter, yes it is more efficient, etc... but you have to figure the older angels can compete with the newer ones, i have seen LED's out there rocking it with the best.

dont try to stay on top of technology, you will loose thousands in the end, and all you'll have to show for it is the title "gunwhore."
just like in computers, new technology every 6 months... but are you updating your home PC or mac that often? i'd hope not.. or if you do then please adopt me cause apparantly you have cash :D

according to wdp there aint going to be a new angel anytime soon,
i'd be surprised if they let one go before HB next year.

What wdp doesnt specify is what exactly "soon" means. Of course WDP is going to say there won't be another angel for awhile. They want people to spend their money on the current angel instead of waiting for the next angel to come out.

oh crap, here we go again....
I'm guessing milling changes. One thing brought up in the "What Would You Like To See" forum was the resale on angels being so low due to the releasing of new models. I'd expect wdp to keep the a1 platform for the next season, with just a different look.

thanks guys...i myself have a 2k2 lcd that is still rippin and doin great with original board and all. i still love and use it but i was just thinkin of upgrading and didnt want to get the A1 or another gun then have a newer one come out within the next couple months. what do you guys think about the 05 speed platform...because im also kinda wanting a gun that uses a 9V instead of the rechargable. once again.thanks

Uhhh why not just buy a new board for your LCD man,I had the Eye-Q mod done at Fix My Angel a year or so ago and got an FBS Tadao board replacement at the same time and I've been rocking my LCD at a CAPPED yes CAPPED 19BPS every since.LOL

my 13 capped ramp/turbo works great for me*love those programable modes*...also i kinda just want a new gun to tinker with. i love taking them apart and learning how they work. what gun should i go with?
