wel as most of you knoe....specially ken. i race motocross. well it is this fact that has come back to bite me in the dick more then once....yes the dick. not the ass. the dick. as some of you know i was scheduled for ACL surgury on my right knee today. well i had toride one last time before surgury.....so i went on sunday to county line mx park, its my local track. well in the past year we have had many problems at county. my bro cased a tripple (came up short) and ripped a hople in his arm with the ball end of a clutch lever in february. then in late march he endoed over a step down and had a hematoma the size of a watermellon. the bigest the doctor had ever seen. well i was going out one last time before i was to hang up my boots for 6 months cause of surgury. i was gfoing through the whoops, a section like this ^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^ and i swapped out three from the end, kept the power on so i woiuldent drop my front wheel. and then i swapped out the other direction, clamped with my knees to try to bring her back and oiver corrected, swapped the other direction, so here i am in 4th gear wide open doing a tank slapper down a whoop section, i land sideways and my knee brace locked at the point i set it at so it wouldent hyperextend my knee. well since it was bracing aganst my femur it snapped my tibea. so not im out of the surgury on my right acl cause i cant adaquittly do rehab on my knee with a broken left tib. if any of you dont know the tibea is the shin. and it hurts like a bitch. so yall, im here to remind you that safety equipment is only safe to a certian point. their has to be a failure point. and for me id much rather it be on my tib then a hyperextended knee.

what did you do when it broke?

i called my friends dad into the bottom of the track, and popped the bockleson my boots, and told him " can you call your wife and tell her to get kelly or mark down here with teh gator cause i have a brokenb leg and i am not walking up there." so we got my pants off and i saw that bulge on my leg. i was like ohh §§§§, im out. and then i was in the emergancy room in my socks, knee skins, polo boxers, and under armor and this extremely hot girl walks in. it was an interesting expierience.

Glad it's not the femur. That thing would take even longer to heal.
Store up on rest and relaxation while you heal, you'll be going stir crazy by the end.

Ive got a few friends that motocross and one especialy has been doing it for prolly 15 years plus and his knees are torn up from it. He can take his knee caps and rotate them back and forth so much it makes you wanna puke when he does it. Hard on you body for sure but not saying paintball doesnt cause lasting injuries. Dislocated my shoulder in a Pete Rose dive prolly 4+ years ago and 2 §§§§ty knees left one worse than the right. Also gets scary when I play anymore of worrying about more injuries or making previous ones worse. Sooner or later I will be layed to pasture playing back. Hate to say it but it's inevitable.

And...something else to think about.... When you guys get old (like me), you'll be making the same statements that you hear the old farts make... "If I had known I was going to live THIS long, I'd taken better care of myself!) Living on the edge has it's risks...and rewards...

Some people like it in the rear and say it feels natural.

Hell, I get out there and play like a madman still. Old fart, I suppose but the next day I know I'm old! lol The difference is the older you get the better you are at knowing when to quit.
