USPS took about 400 mail boxes and converted them in R2-D2 mailboxes. they look pretty cool and the article can be found here: http://starwars.com/collecting/news/misc/news20070319.html

Anyway they have one where I live. I took my son over there and snapped a few pics of him. He loves SW and Stormtroopers are his favorite, I got him the helmet for his birthday and the only time he takes it off is to put on his hockey gear. Anyone else see these mail boxes around???

I have no idea how long they will be around. There's another one about 15-20 minutes away. If I need to go that way for some reason I'll probably take another pic or 2.

Since I'm not in the sates I won't see any of those mailboxes around here. But I did vote online on which star wars stamp wars my favorite, Boba Fett is of course my favorite.
