Dwell

hey i have a question i havent adjusted my dwell yet or anything but im wondering what it does when you change it. I know how to change it and my BPS and all but i would rather not until i know what it does exactly. can anyoen explain?

i beleive the manual states that it adjusts how long your valve stays open. The longer its open the more gas is used but its easier on paint, the shorter it is the less tolerant it is to paint but its uses less air/more efficient. you need it open long enough however so that you can get enough fps. Correct me if Im wrong.
