Ok I post this as kinda a flame post but o well here goes
I was out at my local field this past weekend and I got the usual "wow is that a angel" and then this kid says I can`t be a good player becouse I`m fat(yes fat) so then I asked him why he said that and he said do you see any pro players that are fat( I said not really) he said there you go. So I was woundering if anyone else has this problem becouse until now I did not know that only skinny people are going to be good players(so not true)

FYI:I`m not claiming that I am better than anybody but I do have alot of tourny exp and that shows greatly in rec-ball.

Bob Long is fat...he's arguably the best back player out there..too bad i suck at remembering names or i could name out a pile of fat players that are damn good....but, i rarely can remember names that i dont use/hear often so i can't give u names...but i know what they look like if that means anything..lol..

When I first started out a "fat" guy was the one that taught me a lot. Another fat guy that was our teammate was also hella good. They were slow indeed, though in a straight line they could pull off some moves. And they picked their times to make things happen. Excellent students of the game, and great "game time" sense. They might not play the snake like I do, but I want them on my team any day of the week. By the way the first guy I'm talking about is around 5'4" and well over 250lbs. and the second around 6'1" and also well over 250lbs. Not slim by any means.

I say to hell with all that. I school cheesecakes on a regular basis and I am also known to be the one on the team to get up the middle bacause from the back I see the game develop and see the open lanes, player tendencies, blind spots, and all that good stuff.

One thing to note as a definate advantage is since I dont run all that fast, it is hard, if not impossible for lames to hear me coming to bunker them. So when my front/mid player is duelling it out with them, I sneak in the back door.

The one thing I never get tired of hearing is, "...I never expected it to be you...". :clap:

It was actually suppose to be a real serious moment and I just couldnt resist. I wasnt actually grabbing his ass, so he didnt know how the pic turned out until it got sent to him a day later.

We are good friends I like to think so everyone really enjoyed the humor in it. Paintball gets really serious sometimes and I like to take the edge off and remind everyone, especially myself, that it is a game and we are there ultimately to have fun...ohhh you forgot too. :doh:

Sweet all us fat guys are sliming down.....started last year at 240 started this year at 180 and plan on losing 40 pounds this year However Im still a freak'n midget at 5'4" and since Im 22 I doubt I have any growing left to do.

Oh yeah I almost forgot any one who had seen Austin Powers 3 here a little image to think of with the weight loss "I got a little extra skin and my neck look like a vagina" That should burn a pretty picture into your mind :D

I excersize eat rite and I have my own little helper (ripped fuel )but it was mostly powered by the feeling of bunkering out the fifty bitch in the first twenty seconds of the game. I know what you mean Emmit. I'm pretty small at 5'8" and sometimes I find it difficult to fit in the small bunkers nowadays. Snakes have gotten lower to the ground too. I used to play a field that got JT letters and put them on their side. Not very high off the ground at all. That was at the 50. Needless to say I loved stuffing myself in there.

And, I can tell ya, syentific has no problem getting up front. He put two in my back this past sunday. We were both playing front, and I didn't know he was in the middle of a bunker that had a large middle part that stood upright, and 4 laydowns that surrounded it with can's on the ends. I passed the 50, and didn't know he was behind me.

But, I don't remeber if I've ever been insulted because my weight on the field. I don't think I have.

MY friend joe is a larger guy. He defintly isn't skinny but god can he bunker. The guy like crawls inside his own damn hopper when he plays front it is funny.
