a4 fly bolt modification...self cleaning eyes?

has anyone tried to drill holes in the bolt to clean the eyes like the a1? If anyone has, and it has worked, Id like to see some pictures.

shouldn't be too difficult, just remember to offset the holes to account for the pin position, and the position of the eyes.

when viewed from the soft nosed end, you're looking at 5.5mm right from the center, and if you align one of the soft nose arms vertical, and the pin at around 4 o'clock, you should be spot on.
Depth from the front face is 9.5mm
Hole size is 1mm
