FOR IMMEDIATE RELEASE
Indianapolis, IN. – After two years of development, Hater Paintball LLC, manufacturer of high performance lubricants, Malicious Intent Software, and Gun Graffiti products, is proud to announce the release of the HATRED line of gun boards and SYMBIO line of wireless technologies.

The HATRED gun board platform features computing capabilities which are ten times faster than any other aftermarket gun board, twenty-two firing modes, and the most advanced shot processing software in the industry.

The hardware on the HATRED board was developed with two primary concerns: overall speed and wireless expandability. Each HATRED board comes equipped with a high-performance wireless transceiver, an industry first, which is fully capable of an almost unlimited array of wireless applications. The HATRED hardware is wholly capable of long-rang transmissions, computer and PDA synchronization, wireless “intellifeeds,” and more.

Each HATRED board comes pre-loaded with SYMBIO SYNC loader board software for instant wireless synchronization with the SYMBIO loader boards.

The HATRED DM/Proto Ultralite Frame Board, HATRED Shocker Board, and SYMBIO wireless Halo board will all be available for demo at the Hater Paintball booth at this weeks Huntington Beach NPPL. A small number of DM/Proto Ultralite frame boards will be available for sale and some will be raffled off. A second run of DM, Shocker, and SYMBIO boards is expected shortly.

High profile player Nicky Cuba, Professional teams Miami Rage and Chicago Evil, along with Indianapolis NTK and more will be playing with HATRED and SYMBIO products throughout the 2007 season.

Judging from this email anyways it looks like we have a new board for the A1 with Pulse transmitter built in :)

Interesting!

Rage announced that they would be using VLocities this year and obviously they shoot A1's, so I wonder what they have in store in terms of this Hatred?Symbio announcement.

One would think that if there were A1 products in the works, that it would have been mentioned.

Oh well... I guess we'll just have to wait and see. :(

I am a little hesitant on this one. Long range wireless eh... So the potential to be hacked or jammed is very likely. High speed scans would easily tell you what channels are connectible. Then it is looky what we have here.... Thanks, but no thanks....

High speed wireless does not mean that its 802.11 compatible, much less that a computer could even connect to your board, do you worry about people hacking your cellphone cause its blue tooth? Jamming it would be almost impossible aswell, the gun and the hopper are so close together the amount of electronic noise they would need to generate would be massive, we're talking some serious generators.

The one thing i am hesistant on is the battery consumption. Wireless is not easy on batteries and I spend enough on 9v's, i dont really want to have to buy even more of them.

Eh... If it doesn't have LCD I'll stick with stock. The stock board is the best software stock I have ever seen. It is very impressive and I see no need to change it out.

ok then how can i make it fire up to 32 like my g7?Update to the latest softewae, set the trigger to get maximum bounce, and set the bounce level on the gun to bounce like a clown of crack. Oh and also get a loader that will be able to feed a consistant 32 bps.

I'm all for the A1 getting more aftermarket parts.
For one thing it shows aftermarket manufacturers have faith in the A1 being a sucessful product with a growing market share and possibly even more potential. Well, we already knew that, but it's good that others also are noticing.

Often aftermarket parts, especially boards are a big part in the decisionmaking of many paintballers. Even today most boards are not as good as the best aftermarket boards. But sometimes this is not the case, and even without any real performance gain, as would be the case here since the A1 stock board is more than adequate, it's quite excellent.
But real performance aside, an option for microswitch and perhaps gun individuality was something that made people who would not otherwise try the G7 line do just that with the release of the MT/Tadao Angel board. The Hater board will likely do the same with the A1. More Angels sold = better for WDP = more money to put into continued R&D which in the end benefit all of us. And also it means there will be more of our Angel user brothers and sisters.

But. And this is a big but (as you can see). The stock trigger/board interface can be set up to emulate the feel of a microswitch. This is how: set magnet to be hard for a snappy feel by using magnet screw as stop screw and set switch point close to start of pull.
I suggest that anyone not liking their current feel over a Microswitch try this. It also helps reduce bounce. In fact, I suggest all of you try this.

Oh and also get a loader that will be able to feed a consistant 32 bps.

That would be a Q-loader, and only a Q-loader... See my thread on this topic on this forum.

its too bad that hater made this awesome (sounding) board,
cause i dont really like hater.
i hope it has what the ego7 does, so you can switch from micro to opto with the touch of a button
