Does the error say run-time error '53'?
To fix you have to delete the software from you computer and re-install.
Then reflash with the new software and should work fine.
I had to do mine three times i think its all in the way you install it onto you computer if you don't follow the process exactly it dosn't like it.

This EXACT problem happened to me. Don't worry nothings actually broken. Just like Russ said delete all the stuff for flashing on your computer. Restart and install again. Once you have it installed. Read ALL the instructions that comes in the folder. Click on the extract tab to extract all the things from the folder and create a shortcut on the Angel 1 Series Flash Utility. After go to the flash utility via "Start" on your bottom bar and then ALL PROGRAMS and then simply find Angel 1 Series Flash Utility.

Thats what worked for me. Some people here can actually walk you through the whole thing via msn, sure helped me ALOT

Once you reflash the orange light will go and a blue/green light will flash to say that you have done the right thing and the software is installing onto your marker.
Now sit back and enjoy.

While your not attempting to flash your A1 i suggest taking the battery out. Its also best to flash on a FULL battery too

let me ask you guys another question. my roto breech seems to flap around a bit. how tight should this be, when i tighten it i get bolt stick, i've heard other people say they also have this. how about you guys? any info would help

It should move a little when firing as the only thing keeping it closed is the bolt moving forward a little to lock it in.
It won't be moving any more than it's suppost to and if it does the bolt will have wear on it to show this, and as you said if you over tighten the bolt will stick try not to adjust once you find the happy medium.
Hope this helps
