Ok so I like clean well maintained gear. Is it possible to OVER maintain an Angel? After every day out I break everything down and clean and lube it. If I am also adding drops of oil to the asa is there a possibility that it will get sludge build up in the air passages or something?

You really shouldnt need to lube after EVERY day. But adding a few drops of oil before you play each day is not a bad idea aslong as you arent adding too much.

your angel will work flawlessly without completely breaking it down after every day of play. you might even see an increase in efficiency if you give it time to seat everything and break in a little before you go messing with it. fact is that i oil (2 drops) my marker before each day of play. but i only tear down and service after about 10,000 shots. i never have any mechanical problems with any of my angels. and i mean never. the only time my gun has failed me is when my dumb ass forgot to charge it :(

same as above, except the charging bit.

I've seen a few angels that have been over-oiled, very messy, especially the solenoid.

I work on angel for other players in my area and overlubing can gunk up the marker espeilly the solinoid but i ussally only see this in older lcds owned by newbies who don't read there manuals. Follow your manual i only do a major tear down one a year and pull the ram every couple of mou nths to clean the area where the ram travels. I own two A1's and I have yet to even consider tearing it down.
