there are two .sr1 files
which one do i use?

When they say it has been limited by loader speed...what do they mean?
I mean like there are modified hoppers out there that can feed insnaly fast (such as my boosted/gangstard vlocity)
these were out there before this board so past angels have had no problem finding a hopper that can feed fast enough... im a little lost lol
i tried to make it as clear as i could.

I think what they mean is that before the A1 was limited to 31 bps which was fast enough for most hoppers, now there are many custom hoppers that can feed past 31 bps consistently so 2.2 is here to take advantage of that? I could be completely wrong but thats what i get from that statement....

Bob I don't know how to flash my board and I don't want to try and screw something up could I send it in to you guys to do it? If so how much?

it shouldnt be a problem......i breezed by the reflash in about 10-15mins..
(coming from a 14....well 15 in may)year old.
Just folow the steps as described and make sure all files are in right place.
EDIT- ill send you the pdf file walk thru that comes up after you DL the file.
(if you just want to look at it before your attempt it)

If I still have the programs from the 2.1 update, all i have to do is get the 2.2 file and place it in the folder, and click the shortcut for the Angel Series Flash Utility --> then open the 2.2 file correct?
I dont have to do the whole download and install again for the entire thing, right?

Correct once you flash it once all you need is the 2.2 file.

It is very simple. You should at least try. You are not going to damage your board. If you are unsucessful...THEN send it in.

I am a bit confused by the beginning of the A1 2.2 video http://www.spymac.com/details/?1869354.
It states, ".....But its maximum rate of fire has been limited by the restrictions of loader technology . . . until now."
To my simple mind this is saying that the upgrade is somehow changing the restriction of loader technology.
If in the past the rate of fire has been limited by the loader not the marker how is changing the marker software getting rid of the restriction in loader technology? Sure there is a simple answer I am just missing it.

... and the settings of the loader. It appeared to be an Empire Reloader B1, but it did not have the magnetic lid so there's a possibility it was a Halo.

I used the new software today (2.2) and I wasn't impressed. There was gaps after gaps when i tried to rip on semi. I would be pulling crazy fast then there would be a whole bunch of quick little pauses. It was impossible to keep a consistant stream. This was with the Joy/Rage settings as well.
Anyone have some good settings to use with this new 2.2?

you need to now match the speed of your gun to the speed of your loader. set the guns paint type lower and see it it clears up.

The A1 with 2.2 software video (http://www.spymac.com/details/?1869354) is shooting a nice consistent 20bps. It looks pretty good to me.

That's better than the 17bps average that I can do with my 06 Speed.

The exciting thing is that I think I was actually pulling the trigger 17 times a second in that picture. The Speed WILL DO 30 bps with mad trigger bounce. (see below). Note: My Halo cannot maintain 30bps consistently though.

Thanks, always good to have a second goldwave opinion on this.
According to my count it's 30.3 to 30.8 for a full second at its' fastest depending on where in the interval you measure. Now that I got v2.2 I'll make one with eyes on also. Preliminary tests show it to be the same speed with eyes. And I *may* be able to get it higher since demo has a 30 bps cap and 30.8 is pushing the very limit of that cap. Also my A4 FLY does about 33,5 at uncapped ramp. These things indicates the A1 gun has more speed to give.
We'll have to wait and see.

Have to say I ran a couple of pots through my A1 on the weekend, having had problems with it the Sunday before (running and running, not running and gunning) and it was sweet.

Even with the pre v2.2 software the A1 could shoot faster than any loader on the market.
I don't know... I'm guessing this software upgrade is just some minor changes in the eye logic and maybe a few other tweaks here and there.

I've tried, any it keeps telling me to "Connect Marker!" and i keep trying to plug it in, and it just wont connect.
