Where did you buy it from? That may have somethinng to do with it. If you buy it from a inernet gorue you get §§§§ quallity. If you buy from a angel tec they check them out.

I bought it from First Call Paintball. Have yall had any problems like this? I mean I have owned 2 Angels and they were prefect, is this odd?

If you don't like it, I'd be more than happy to trade you my G7, lol.
Did you but their $1195 package deal? I had considered that one for a couple of seconds but got lucky and got it from a buddy of mine that owns a shop for a better price. My A1 was flawless out of the box, and the battery was full. I have had some issues with firstcall on various other items and cant say that I am very impressed with them. I doubt what you got was what WDP delivered to them.

That is very rare, the anno's on the A1's i have seen have all be spotless and by far some of the best anno work i have ever seen. The drained battery depends on how long the A1 has been sitting and the loose trigger, well you're going to adjust it anyways so i dont know how big a deal a loose trigger is. If you bought it NIB and the anno is bad i would definately report that though as thats definately not normal.

Just send it back, tell them it's $@it and your not happy with it. Tell them you want a different one or your money back and you will go somewhere else!

Look at the resale value of these markers - it says it all.

Whats funny is that everyone keeps saying angels have low resale values...have you looked at the used marker market lately? A1's actually have pretty much the highest resale value of the high end guns released last year other than the PL egos and even then, they took a much higher drop in value than A1's did.

How much you willing to buy them for - may have a couple for you.

The market for them is 700-800 or so. Compare that to a PM6 with UL that will run you just over 400 bucks (if that), a DM6 which will run you about 500-550 bucks, an 06 ego that will run you 550 or so, and you'll see that the A1 didnt really take much of a tumble in comparison The A1 lost about 500 bucks, compare that to the SL 66 which has lost 800 bucks in a year and did the A1 really do that poorly?
Paintball Markers in general have a terrible resale value. Its worse then a snowmobile . I hope no one bought a marker as a financial investment. In fact I find the markers with the highest resale are the popular ones not the quality ones. But I do have to admit I am leary about buying a A1 there reviews are 50/50 . Folks love em or hate em. But I am still thinking about getting one . I bleed WDP!!!!!

You only have to be slightly smarter than Sloth from the movie The Goonies to get your A1 ripping.

I just purchased my A1 Rage from First Call and received it yesterday (3/13). Prior to buying it I asked Bob (Sales Mgr) to ensure that the latest software update was applied along with any other needed uprgades. I have had a chance to check it out yet due to my work schedule; but the seal on the styrafoam packing was broken so maybe they did what I asked. I also bought a GAT from them last year and had no issues.
As a side note...I emailed Bob & Ken to give me a price quote on the A1 along with other accessories and neither of them got back to me; thus Firstcall got my $1,400+.
Mr. Viscomi,
I cannot speak for Ken, however, I did reply to your email roughly hour and half after it was received on Sunday 031107. If it is ever urgent, I can also be reached by telephone. The number listed on my site is current.

No harm done; you reply may have been filtered by Anti-spam. My posting wasn't meant in any way, shape or form to be a slur on Ken or yourself. I've purchased products in the past and currently form the 2 of you and Ken has helped me through many issues with my GAT. I just would have preferred to purchased my marker from an Angel Specialist, but I need something by the weekend; thus my haste.
Looking forward to your continued supplie & support!
Sincerly,
Tony

Ken,
Can you please PM me with the email address you replied to? I'm just installed new Security Software (PC-Cillin) and it may be filtering out emails it shouldn't be. Also, I went ot your "online store" to order gauges, but it seems to be down.
Thanks!
