I've had this problem since I got this angel. I sent it to Ken, although I haven't been able to contact him to see what his diagnosis is or what setup he used. Perhaps he'll peek in this thread.
So at this point my angel, even with a 9m/s dwell hiccups on the first shot. I have the newer generation internals so I'm not entirely sure what the problem is.
I'm using a crossfire stubby LP tank. I've heard this tank is compatible with the A1, if im mistaken, please say so.
The money to buy this gun has been the most depressing story ever. Between having it stolen, going to court, and getting it back, I've spent months collecting and working my ass off for this gun. It has never worked as well as what all the Joy players have said.
I have my first game of the season this weekend and I'd really just like it too work. I'm feeling rather dissallusioned. I know this gun can be the best, but its like having a ferrari that can't go faster than 60 miles an hour. The truth is im a capable player that has been waiting for a gun like this to be my own, now I just want it too work smoothly.
Any help would be greatly appreciate, please AO, make me happy again.

I just finished fixing the same problem that your having a few minutes ago. I ordered a new LPR from Bob and popped it in, set the pressures, aired it up and she's purring with a dwell of 7. Before the ram wouldn't get enough air to hit the exhaust stem. The problem might be on the seal that's inside the LPR, I just gotta go get the LPR maintenance kit, and I'll know for sure.
If anyone's wondering why I went and got a new LPR instead of the service kit, its always nice to have a extra parts cuz you'll never know.

I'm no WDP MT, but to me it sounds like a lot of the problems you guys are having is related to your tanks output pressure being too low.
I've quoted him before, but now I can't find the thread where he posted it... Bob Moon from FMA has said that the A1 works best with a tank output pressure between 500-650.
... pretty sure it was 500-650.

The marker does perform best with 500-650psi.

Well §§§§. Okay, As far as i know Ken gave me a new exhaust valve, I checked. Perhaps I need to get another one, but this tank deal is beginning to make me wonder.
What tanks are adjustable that would work well with an A1?

sounds like a low output pressure from your tank. just borrow another for testing and see if it fires properly. this is exactly the same problem paintball momma had and it was her tank. sorry you havent been able to reach me but i can always be reached at mrfixit220@aol.com. its better than trying to call me as i am almost always at a desk during the week.

I'm thinking of mounting a NitroDuck X-Stream on my crossfire stubby, this way I could adjust my pressure. Does this seem pheasible, that is, not dangerous?
