View Full Version : G7 Fly max actual ROF

Hey guys, just wondering if anyone knew this.

What's the max actual rate of fire on a stock g7 if you could theoretically pull the trigger that fast or use another board and full auto/ramp it.

I was talking to a friend about the max a gun can go, and he has a pmr, which can shoot about 24 bps (ramp, of course :] ). JW what it is on the G7 fly.

due to the limitations on the board the marker will cycle somewhere near 31 in demo. i can get my g7 up around 25 with paint and no ramp

how the hell can you possibly pull the trigger 25 times in one second without bounce or ramping? i mean, most people can't even hit 15. but another 10 bps more than that is ridiculous.

i didnt say it didnt have some bounce. and i can hit 15 with ease on tr1 and mba at 8. and i mean with ease.

I would say it really depends on how fast your hopper can feed paint really. Like someone else said, put a qloader on it, and goldwave it. I just have no idea where you can get it goldwaved.

Seek 'n Destroy is going to be running the indoor field, right? I've froze my butt off at Splatterpark twice already this year, so some indoor sounds nice.

Boostmonkey is the man. We got a great vid of me shooting my Dark G7 fly. When ever he posts it up. (I asked him to put it in the Video section Thread) I'll post a link to it. He's also gonna goldwave it for me. for2nato if you want to Goldwave it too, be my guess. But first I wanted to let everyone know what my settings were for it.
Angel Force Fbs Tadao board.
Gangsta mode on first shot.
followed by unlimited Ramping, mode 10
ramp start on 4bps
Debounce 1
my Halo has a Angry Board inside, along with Shochtech Hot rod kit.
Aftermarket X mod motor w/ delrin speedwheel on it.
Dewell @ 9
and LPR @ 65 psi I think.

I didn't get it posted last night. I had to fix a toilet at home instead. I'll post it up tonight in the video section as you say. Does your Tadao board have different settings for ball-in-place delay (hopper speed/paint setting)?

yeah the tadao board has a hopper delay setting, but it was set on no delay since I was using a Angry halo.

As promised here the link to the Video Boostmonkey and I did of my gun shooting. There was like 2 or 3 shots left in the hopper at the end due to the "Popcorn" effect of my hopper. http://www.angelowners.com/showthread.php?p=573138#post573138

Really? That's fantastic. Post a video of him shooting 48 bps over a bps chrony.

A nice clear vid please, with no background noise. Only want to see the marker shooting, and hear the paint flying, without any special effects please.

Anyway, I've seen G7 FLYs shoot 28bps before.

28bps Yes its possiable, but the 48bps you claimed, I've gotta call that bunk, or prove it otherwise.

true ROF would be however fast the loader can load the balls.

max rof 90.9bps, 7ms dwell + 4ms bolt return/1000ms but it's theoretically and physically impossible for any gun/pneumatic device to load and fire a ball to that fast. the fastest i've seen is 32 on an A1, 29 on a G7, 26 on a A4 with A1/G7 LPR spring stack, 22 on an A4 with stock LPR spring stack.

more factors include hammer weight and aftermarket accessories etc.

Fargbollen :bowdown: has had an A4 Fly up to 34.5 bps sustained and 37.3 bps peak.

those q-loaders are just plain ridiculous XD I'd only spend the money to do those tests which i usually only do on my past time.
