I'm using a pulse and I get bolt stick often. I've found that if I press the un-jam (blue) button and fire the gun the bolt will return.

Is my pulse causing the bolt stick or should I be looking somewhere else?

Have you shot with any different hoppers? You may need to up your ABS setting or your breach may be too tight. This can be fixed by loosening the screws just a bit. As for can the Pulse cause it?....I have no experience with them so I'm not much help there.

my breech is loose (when i turn the gun upside down the breech flops open on its own), but set in the center with no side to side play.

I have not tried the a1 with another loader and paint. But I have tried it with a halo b2 and tac-balls and it does the same thing. As long as i can unjam the stack the bolt will come back.

does it do it if you manually feed a stack of balls. without a loader. or when you dryfire

Ok. What is your ABS set at? I had to set mine up until it was broken in a little. Mine would stick too.

my abs is set at 0.25ms

Be sure that all of you have the new bolt. Mi old bolt usually stick in the front at the beginning of each play day. After i upgrade to the new bolt, mi problem disappear. i really don't think that the loader have something to do with that.

i hope this help.

Increase your ABS until the sticking stops and you will be in business.

I have my settings at the Joy/Rage specs (ABS 1.25 ms)and have never had my bolt stick when using my Pulse. I would have to go with increasing your ABS and see if that helps resolve the issue. You may want to bump your dwell up slightly as well if the ABS doesn't help. Also take a very close look at your bolt and at the ball detection area. I have noticed that after shooting reballs and even some paint that a thin film begins to build up in that area that maybe getting on your bolt and causing resistance. Hope some of that helps you to resolve your problem.

does your bolt move freely in the breach when no air is in it? If it sticks even a tiny bit then your breech block needs adjusting. If not then go ahead and bump up the ABS

Have you ever oiled your bolt? I belive oil on it can cause it to swell.

bolt moves freely in breech

i havent put oil directly on the bolt, and i've wiped it clean of oil when i lube the gun.

i dont understand how upping the abs will make it work? the abs only kicks in every 15secs. I see jams quicker than this.

whats your lpr pressure at? Could be that you are not getting enough air when shooting quickly which causes the pressure from the ball stack to catch the bolt and stop it?

ive setup my gun with the mini-reg at 270psi and lpr at 60psi.
Im using a dxs lp tank (~450psi)

right, try raising the lpr pressure a bit by adding another shim and see if that helps. Also try lowering the force of the pulse if it has variable force (i dont know if they do or dont). It sounds like most likely the stack pressure is actually catching your bolt which makes sense as to why releasing tension of it for even a few milliseconds would free it up.
