View Full Version : removing paint from car?

ok my friends threw some paintballs at my car window and they had dried over 2 weeks now. i tried to scrap it off but not working. Whats the best way to remove it with out harming the paint job or my window?

Lighter fluid usually works. It won't harm the paint and evaporates easy. You can put it on a rag and rub it into the paint or just directly put it on the dried paint. I wouldn't trust Goo Gone as I don't know how it will affect the paint job.

Actually WD-40 works great. It is fish oil based so it won't hurt paint. It is like duck tape. It has all kinds of uses! lol

lol i did that already. happens every time we finish for the day. Every one has a big paintball throw fest and for some reason every one likes to hit my piece of crap paseo. :confused:

how about just using some really hot water. put it on let it soak then use soap and water to rinse.

Draxxus Blaze will RUIN automotive paint in the sun. Wash your car immediately if you get paint on it. I washed mine when I got home one Saturday and it was too late.

If it's really that much of a piece of crap, don't worry about it. It will eventually fade into the paint and nobody will notice because the car is so dirty.:taxi:
