All of a sudden my stock A1 has a mind of its own
It will not stay turned off
I have flashed it twice with 2.1 software each time with a new battery and it still does it
Heres the sequence
hold button
goodbye
display switchs off
eyes go out
eyes come on
led flashs
display comes on
live and good to go
Up until now it has worked a dream
WDP are at home - so anyone got any pearls of wisdom

She doesn't like to be put down. Wants to mow faces 24/7:devil:
I was going to suggest maybe your wheel was in a bind, but if that was the case it would turn on, and off, and on, and off, etc. Maybe take the board out and see if there is anything in between the wheel and switch, dust or something. Dissassembling and reassembling it may even do the trick, its possible.

On 4th new battery all Duracell Procell and this one is even from a different batch
3rd software flash done at very slow speed
With or without eyes connected changes nothing - still turns on
criky mate, what a big bag of wank. Seems the wheel may be sticking.

Mikey can have the sheep, which i'm sure he has. Sounds like an odd one this problem. it does sound like the wheel is sticking.
