nah, 16 is ok, but if you go over that,you are just a woodsballer.haha

I use 14" because it helps with inflatable bunkers to make your profile small. 12" is my next tip to buy. Use what you feel comfortable with. Physics says the ball only accelerates 8-10 inches. So anything too long you lose velocity due to drag(friction).

14 in and 10 in are lengths i have. i had a 12 but it never got used
14again for airball
10 for the rest
its basically preferance but both are extremely useful on certain types and positions of fields

I don't buy drag reducing velocity, fps is measured at the end of the barrel. The drag will make you use a little bit more air for each shot though. I'm used to sighting down a 14", it doesn't slow me down any moving around the field. Don't think a 16" would make an extreme difference.

i think 16" is just fine, on a sup air' ball feild you can use the length to your advantage. all u do is press the barrel into the bunker and move out i'll give you less for them to hit, i think it works well at least.

once again, it's preference, if you can play good with a 20 incher on a speedball field, so be it. I like 10 and 16 though.
