First off i would like to say i love my A1. I play every weekend and i usually have not problems. I have one of the first guns that came out SN 443. I finally got all the kinks worked out and it shoots fine. But i only have one problem. I purchased a Sly barrel kit for my A1 since they didn't have the barrel expansion kit out. Well i am stationed overseas so the supplies and choices are limited (including paint). I have been noticing this problem recently. My field changed their paint to Empire brands. Specifially Ramp paintballs. I purchased these balls on two seperate occasions (both for rec ball). I did my research on the paint and noticed that it had some good reviews. Well i bought this paint the first time and the paint just broke on a consistent basis. Even a low rates of fire (i.e. snap shooting practice). So i gave up and sold it. Well my field ran out of the paint i normally use... so i had to buy Ramp again. I first thougt it was a bad batch. Well I loaded up and began to practice again (snap shooting). The same result happened. I turned down my paint settings to 1 fragile. I was thinking this would alleviate some of my issues. It did not. I even oversized my bore .689 to see if it was a bad match. Still the same result. Now i am thinking it is my marker. I do not have the numbers to my pressure settings (still waiting on my maintenance items in the mail). But right now I have one shim in my LPR. That is all i got. I am wondering if it could be the pressure that is causing the balls to break. The breaks aren't barrel breaks either. I continously clean my bolt every time i chop. Please can someone help me on this issue.

Remove the barrel and try shooting paint. Does it still break? If you truly want to trouble shoot, the pressures need to be set.

Check your pressures, go to the angel web site and get the new pro settings which made a huge difference with mine. Plus if Bob at Fma gives u advice use it.
