Today I was messing around with my A1 and I barely had any air left in my tank... the gauge wasn't even reading. I got off about 50-60 dryfires before the gun wouldn't shoot anymore. The last 8-10 shots or so the gun was leaking out of the front area of the body like where the plug for the exhaust valve is.

Is this normal because the tank was so low/empty? I've never shot the marker w/ less than 800 psi in the tank before.

The marker has never leaked before. I wish I had another tank with air to put back on the marker to see if it continues to leak. Tomorrow I'm driving about 1.5 hours to go play and I don't want to get there and have a leak.

Perfectly normal. When there's no air left in the tank, excess from the regulators leaks, as there's not enough air to reset.

you should try not to shoot your bottle down till it's dry, less stress on the internals

Sweet! Thanks guys... good to know. I have two A1's and this is the first time I've let one run out of air.

Russ, please change your avatar. I'm tired of wishing I was that cat!
