EVIL SCION reg on A1`??Ken Bob???

Can I take the asa of the grip frame and slide the EVIL SCION regulator w/TANK on my A1 without a problem? KEN/BOB??

I believe what your asking is if you can take the internals out of your foregrip if you have an adjustable output tank regulator.

In theory yes you could do that, but I wouldn't receommend it. You would have to hook some gauges up and see if the Scion regulator could recharge fast enough if you had it set at the 270ish output... I don't think it will and I don't think it will be as consistent.

I've also heard a lot of complaints about the adjustable Evil Scion tank regulator. I was looking to buy an adjustable regulator and did quite a bit of research on them. I found a lot of used Scions in the BST forum at PBN and I also read about people having a lot of problems with the Scion, so I think taht explains why so many were for sale.

I think what he means is just taking the ASA off and putting an adjustable on, leaving the internals in the mini reg. I did that for a while with a centerflag set up. The only reason I changed back is because the adjustable reg kept letting the pressure creep up while playing. eg. it would go from 450 psi output to 600 psi after 1-2 games.

Um No you cant! I have an evil scion tank and the ASA dovetail is a smaller size than the normal industry size. The A1 therefore would not fit the scion dovetail. You would need an adapter plate to marry the two. As far as keeping up with the A1. No problem. The recharge rate on mine is phenomenal.
