Different Boards

Is there any reason why I couldn't put another marker brand, board into my LED, I milled as much aluminum out of my frame so it fits a 9v battery and then some, but is there any difference in the way the angel cycles then say an intimidator, Ion, or shocker? or is it anything that will trip the solendoid? reason is i have an LED with no board or solenoid and i have a shocker, Ion, and frenzy board

Any board used in a single solenoid open bolt gun should be usable, but you say your LED doesn't have the solenoid, which is a huge problem. That particular solenoid is/was proprietary and they are both hard to find and stupid expensive.

sorry i have the solenoid, and I have another question, I installed the ion board and it would make the solenoid click but it leaked like a sieve when I gassed it up so i took the gun apart and greased every thing with dow55 but when I put it all back together it wouldn't click anymore, does anyone know what would have caused this? any help would be great

man,I don't think it sounds like a good idea to be messing around with swapping boards and stuff unless you are a profesional.You can damage the boards and noids if you don't know what you are doing.You know you can find a led board for like 20 bucks on Ebay.
