New - Trigger system – External TOE Adjustment for Increased Rate of Fire up to 30bps (with Sensi activated)

Does this mean it uses the opto sensor? Or is this just a fancy new name for a microswitch? Think I might be picking up one of these when I get back to the good ol US, spend some of my saved up tax free pay.

The Sensi is a form of Cops but is supposivly better. It has nothing to do with the trigger. Its just saying that the ROF is possible of 30 while the Sensi is working.

Yeah, it's the COPS, but i'm pretty sure it still has the OPTO, because in the description it says something about the trigger having light-fast activation, possibly implying a laser.

Yea they are opto activating boards. It says that in thier description.

The TOE adjustiment is the activating point of the board.

one sec :puzzled:

Didn't some guy named "capnut" or something like that do that to his IR3. Remember... he got a 19bps bounce on an opto.

yup thats him...but he made his trigger really light like i did and he hit 19

hey this off topic but do you think ? that you could adjust the dwell thru butons on the speed ? Was the old led lie this ?

Nope the old LED used 'pots' or screws on the board in the grip.

WDP tried to put a timmy trigger in a space frame. "

Oh god no !!! I hope this aint true !! I hate timmy triggers !!

i wouldnt mind :) i like timmy triggers. anyways im sure that was just his opinion. they will most likely make aftermarket triggers. they cant expect to make a trigger that weird looking and have EVERYBODY like it

It seems like the Speed has the movable pivot point option like the iR3, maybe the triggers will be interchangeable, just with an extra hole for the adjustment on the speed. I'm sure theres a lot of people waiting for WDP's aftermarket iR3 triggers.

Ummm

Its not the trigger!

Its the microswich!!

The timmy switch is a lighter one than the ones in the LCD and DEFINITELY lighter than the opto switch.

Thats all.

Thats why timmies have mad bounce and thats why they shoot faster. Less force required to pull = more bounce.

Thats like matrixes and thier "cherry" micro switches. The easier it is to pull the faster it will go but they eventally burn out.

The opto however will never burn out. What a lot of people dont give effort towards is bending the activating switch so the pull is easier on the optos. There has been a few threads on it.

I'm sure you'll be abel to do this to the speed as well.

The timmy triggers appear to shoot fast because that is the way it was desined. Some people have less skill, and need a little bit of help to shoot like the rest of us. The speed was desined to be a legal gun. One pull and release equals one shot reguardless.

However if you modify your frame to make it a magnetic trigger/frame, it gets really easy to get stupid fast.

so, what, are opto ir3s and speeds not much easier than an LCD to shoot really fast? I have a 2k lcd and i can only get 11 bps on it, but when i use a matrix or a gz timmy i can get about 15bps... i was psyched about the opto trigger because i thought it was going to solve the angel's ... not so amazing trigger, but I have never shot an opto, so i could never tell.
