being a journeyman painter i would have to say the powdercoating would most likely add too great of a film thickness to the working parts of an angel such as the inner rotor breach areas. this coating is sprayed initially so you could mask off the areas that would be affected by the excess film thickness. but then you would see the difference in finish when these areas were accessed. just my opinion.

well after that and some other info i found it sounds like PC wouldnt work, but maybe a spogear coating would be good, tell me what you think and if you have any ideas on a design that would be cool too.

SPO Gear does powder coat.

They start with a powder coat of your selected color, apply the design with a water film sublimation, and then clear coat it.

They do mask off the internal areas though in order to keep the tolerance, because as for2nato said, it would screw with the dimensions.

i'm actually working on powder coating a LED myself.I've got the reg and grip frame done so far and looks sweet. The main body is gonna take some work with all of the prep. That snake skin looks sweet.I'll tell you what powder coat is 10 time stronger than anno.I can sand blast anno like it was nothing but blasting the powder coat is a chore.
